UW-Green Bay utilizes WordPress to power custom sites, blogs, and news feeds.

WordPress can be used for a variety of projects:

  • In courses to encourage discussion and debate (take a look at 好的梯子软件 and Dr. Morgans’ DJS 470 Blog for  examples)
  • A way to keep everyone on campus informed on what’s new in your department (take a look at the Library Blog)
  • Student assignments
  • Publishing new ideas and areas of research to a much wider audience (see how Dr. Martin showcases his research)
  • Newsletters, or a faculty group blog to keep everyone up to date on departmental matters (see how the Professional Program in Nursing and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences integrates one with their current site)
  • News feeds for publishing information that can be used anywhere (check out how Dining Services and HR Connect use WordPress as a centralized way to push updates to others sites across campus)
  • Shared governance information (check out the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business Curriculum Committee)
  • Sites requiring custom designs or themes (Check out the new CATL Blog, The Sheepshead Review and the Weidner Center Site to see the possibilities)
